Mr Sean McHenry

Mr Sean McHenry is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at Belfast’s Royal Victoria and Musgrave Park Hospitals, and in the Ulster Independent Clinic.

He graduated from an Orthopaedic Fellowship in Elbow, Hand and Shoulder Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2006, after completing United States Medical Licensing examinations (USMLE). He had previously completed undergraduate medical training at Queens University Belfast (QUB) Medical School in 1993, was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons In Ireland (FRCSI ) in 1996, completed posgraduate specialty training in Trauma & Orthopaedics on the Belfast surgical rotation, including a Doctorate of Medicine by thesis (MD) for full time research in 2003 and the intercollegiate exam in Trauma and Orthopaedics (FRCSI Tr & Orth) in 2004. He has presented at orthopaedic meetings in Europe and at The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
